SpanTech, Born in 2017 with the inspiring thoughts of the Chairman, with just a few employees who were capable of reaching the heights in the industry.
Six years’ experience in Telecommunication industry including Fibre Projects, Technical Equipment Installations, Drive Testing and Management in Sri Lanka and Seychelles.
30 Years’ experience in the Banking Sector including Finance, Strategic & Operational Accounting, Auditing, Long & Short-term Funding, Management & Supervision, Analysis of Trends in the Market.
A qualified Human Resources Manager handling Recruitment & Training, Payroll and Benefits, Employee Performance Improvement Plans, Managing Employer-Employee Relations.
SpanTech was established with a small team to carry our Telecommunication Engineering Projects. With the skills of the team and the way the projects were managed, SpanTech was able to get more projects in other fields as well.
With the expansion of projects SpanTech started implementing large scale projects related to FTTH, GPON, Telecom Equipment Installation, Drive Testing, Radio Network Optimization, Microwave Links Installation & Commissioning, etc.

SpanTech was established in May 2017 to cater special copper and fibre projects. It started with 10 members focusing on FTTH and GPON Projects. We successfully completed our first FTTH project in Sri Lanka by December 2017. In the year 2018, SpanTech started projects in Seychelles including IPTV New Installations, IPTV Fault Rectifications, FTTH and GPON projects.
With the expansion of Projects and scope of the work we started getting the service of Consultants in relevant industries to gather knowledge and experience, which ensured that we delivered the best service ensuring the customer satisfaction.
The Management team in SpanTech is unique. The team encompasses people from various rounds, with a wide range of skills and educational qualifications. Yet, they are disciplined, focused & dedicated to achieving one goal, the success of SpanTech.
Within next two years we expect to undertake total project management responsibility of a new mobile network with one hundred and fifty staff members.
The team, has played a significant role in managing the working environment to be a healthy one through a flexible organization culture, motivation of employees, being employee oriented and setting out timely strategic plans.
The SpanTech management is so passionate about maintaining customer satisfaction, & the quality of deliverables, shortening the decision-making path and provide necessary approvals to proceed with plans & strategies proposed by the team mates.
Achieving high standards in project delivery and unblemished trustworthiness with the partners, SpanTech has become a reliable partner to many key vendors in the industry. While focusing on providing an efficient and quality service, SpanTech has strengthened her roots both locally and internationally to achieve greater feats.

Fibre To The Home Projects in Sri Lanka, Seychelles and Maldives for many telecom service providers
Implementation of Gigabit Passive Optical Networks has been done in large scale chain hotels connecting over 500 ONTs in a single network.
We lay the Drop Fibre from nearest DP and provide IPTV connectivity to customers. Over 1000 new connections per month
Fault Rectification teams are ready on 24 X 7 basis to handle customer complaints and rectify faults. Teams are capable to attend the faults quickly and provide solutions within a short period of time.
SpanTech has completed several migration projects from Copper to Fibre including Cabinet installation, laying of Aerial and underground fibre cables, splicing, fibre terminating in DPs, etc.

School Children Visit Colombo
SpanTech sponsored an Educational Tour to Colombo, to the children of Kalpitiya / Muhoththuwarama Government Sinhala School. They were shown the Airforce Museum, Torrington Square and Zoo. It was their first journey outside the island and they enjoyed a lot. Shoes and Books were donated during the educational visit.
